Responsibilities:
- Install, program, and maintain fire alarm systems in commercial buildings
- Conduct construction inspections to determine the best locations for fire alarm system installation
- Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to ensure proper installation and wiring of fire alarm systems
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues related to fire alarm systems
- Design customized alarm systems based on client specifications and requirements
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) regulations and local fire codes
- Conduct field service visits to inspect, test, and maintain fire alarm systems
- Utilize power tools and other equipment to install and configure alarm system components
- Assist with fire alarm sales, including conducting demonstrations and providing product information to potential clients

Requirements:

-Nicet certification preferred but not required.
- Proven experience as an Fire Alarm Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and wiring principles
- Familiarity with alarm system design and installation techniques
- Proficiency in reading schematics and blueprints
- Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local fire codes
- Excellent troubleshooting skills for identifying and resolving electrical issues
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and explaining technical concepts
