Job Summary
We are seeking a HVAC Foreman to oversee commercial projects and ensure the efficient installation HVAC systems including ductwork, gas piping, refrigeration piping, equipment, etc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background installing commercial and multi-family projects, with the ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise HVAC/R installation activities.
Layout work for a team of installers and and source all materials in advance.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
Install as necessary to keep up with project schedule
Conduct regular inspections of HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
Manage inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies necessary for HVAC operations.
Provide training and mentorship to junior staff on best practices in HVAC maintenance.
Actively communicate and coordinate with project managers, estimators, vendors, and other contractors.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, including as-built drawings.

Qualifications

Proven experience in HVAC/R systems installation with a strong understanding of forced air systems. 4+ years installing is required.
Skilled in reading and interpreting drawings and specs, and product submittals.
Skilled in brazing copper pipe, ordering and assembling sheet metal ducts.
Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with team members and clients.
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
Relevant certifications in HVAC or related fields are preferred.
A valid driver’s license is required for travel between job sites.

Pay: $58,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
