Duties

Assist experienced electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems on construction sites and commercial facilities
Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform wiring, conduit installation, and fixture mounting
Read blueprints
Measure electrical components with tools like ohmmeters and ensure proper connections according to NEC (National Electrical Code) standard
Conduct routine inspections of electrical work for quality assurance and safety compliance

Requirements

Prior experience or familiarity with industrial or commercial electrician work is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential
Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, schematics, blueprints, and electrical terminology
Ability to read technical drawings and interpret schematics accurately
Experience with construction site environments or related construction activities is a plus
Familiarity with low voltage systems and NEC standards will be advantageous
Demonstrated safety awareness and commitment to following safety protocols on job sites
Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation is preferred for site access
