Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Plumber / Pipefitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing and pipefitting, with the ability to work effectively on construction sites. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the capability to work with various tools and equipment. The Plumber / Pipefitter will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining piping systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.

Duties

Install, repair, and maintain pipes and fixtures associated with heating, cooling, water distribution, and sanitation systems.
Perform pipe threading and assembly tasks using appropriate tools and techniques.
Utilize power tools and equipment safely and effectively on construction sites.
Weld pipes as necessary to ensure secure connections.
Use calipers and other measuring devices to ensure precise measurements for installations.
Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently.
Follow safety protocols and regulations while working on-site to maintain a safe working environment.

Skills

Proficient in pipe threading techniques and rigging practices.
Strong mechanical knowledge related to plumbing systems.
Ability to plumb accurately according to specifications.
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to installations.
Experience with power tools commonly used in plumbing work.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team on construction sites.
