Responsibilities
Assist licensed electricians in installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems on construction sites. Learn to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to support accurate wiring and system setup. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to perform various electrical tasks. Support the installation of low voltage and high voltage systems, ensuring compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards. Conduct routine inspections using tools like ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical issues. Help with framing carpentry tasks related to electrical installations within structures. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety regulations and protocols.

Skills
Basic understanding of electrical concepts, including low voltage and high voltage systems. Experience or familiarity with industrial or commercial electrician work is a plus. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment such as ohmmeters. Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Construction site experience demonstrating safety awareness and teamwork skills. Knowledge of NEC standards for electrical installations and wiring practices. Ability to learn quickly, follow instructions diligently, and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
