Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Fire Alarm Installer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, inspecting, and maintaining fire alarm systems across various commercial and industrial sites. Duties

Install fire alarm systems according to blueprints, schematics, and system design specifications using hand tools, power tools, and CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software.
Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings related to low voltage fire alarm wiring and sensor placement.
Conduct construction inspections to ensure compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code), local codes, and safety standards during installation processes.
Perform system testing, calibration of sensors, and troubleshooting of fire alarm components to guarantee optimal operation.
Coordinate with project managers, electricians, and other construction professionals to integrate fire alarm systems seamlessly into building infrastructure.
Provide field service support by inspecting existing systems, performing upgrades or repairs, and ensuring ongoing compliance with safety regulations.
Maintain accurate documentation of installation procedures, schematics updates, inspection reports, and service logs for quality assurance and regulatory compliance.

Experience

Proven experience as a fire alarm installer or service technician working on fire alarm or low voltage alarm systems.
Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and CAD software for system layout and installation.
Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, system design principles, and construction inspection procedures.
Knowledge of fire sprinkler fitting, sensors placement, electrical wiring standards (including NEC), and low voltage systems.
Experience in fire alarm sales or service roles is a plus but not required; a passion for customer service is highly valued.
Background in electrical experience related to alarms or security systems enhances your ability to troubleshoot effectively.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
