Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Apprentice and kick-start your career in the vital field of building climate control! Responsibilities

Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration equipment.
Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC system diagrams to support troubleshooting and repairs.
Support field service operations by diagnosing issues with mechanical components using tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment.
Perform routine property maintenance tasks related to HVAC/R systems and plumbing to ensure optimal operation.
Aid in the repair of appliances and mechanical equipment, including welding or basic equipment repair when necessary.
Support refrigerant handling procedures for refrigeration systems such as ammonia refrigeration setups.
Maintain accurate documentation of service activities, repairs performed, and system inspections for compliance and future reference.

Qualifications

Prior experience or training in construction, property maintenance, or mechanical fields is preferred.
Service technician experience with HVAC/R systems or appliance repair is highly desirable.
Knowledge of schematics, HVAC design principles, plumbing systems, refrigeration technology, and mechanical components.
Familiarity with field service operations including troubleshooting using diagnostic tools like ohmmeters.
Basic welding skills or boiler maintenance experience is a plus.
Ability to read technical diagrams and work safely with refrigerants such as ammonia refrigeration systems.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating a driver vehicle is advantageous.
Strong mechanical knowledge combined with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills in HVAC/R maintenance and repair.
