Sales & Fire Protection Technician

Exit Pro Services is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Sales & Fire Protection Technician. No prior fire protection experience is required—we provide all training and certifications.

This is a full-time position with long-term career growth opportunities in the fire protection industry. We are looking for someone who is dependable, professional, and willing to learn a skilled trade.

Compensation

Starting Salary: $45,760 per year during training
Upon successful completion of NFPA 10 and NFPA 96 certifications:
Salary increases to $47,840 per year
5% commission on qualifying sales and generated work
Company vehicle provided for daily work activities
Company credit card provided for approved business expenses, fuel, and emergencies

Responsibilities

Perform inspections, maintenance, testing, and service of portable fire extinguishers (NFPA 10)
Perform inspections, maintenance, testing, and service of pre-engineered kitchen hood suppression systems (NFPA 96)
Complete service work generated by company sales representatives
Identify deficiencies and recommend corrective actions
Maintain accurate inspection reports and service documentation
Provide professional customer service at customer locations
Travel daily throughout North Georgia and surrounding areas
Safely operate and maintain company vehicles and equipment

Training & Certifications

All training is company-paid and provided by Exit Pro Services
Technicians are required to obtain:
NFPA 10 Certification (Portable Fire Extinguishers)
NFPA 96 Certification (Pre-Engineered Kitchen Hood Suppression Systems)
Certifications must be completed within 3–4 weeks of the hire date
These are open-book examinations
All training materials, study guides, and support will be provided by the company
Ongoing training and advancement opportunities are available

Requirements

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Ability to lift and carry fire extinguishers and related equipment
Strong communication and customer service skills
Reliable, professional, and self-motivated
Ability to work independently in the field
Willingness to learn and obtain required certifications

Additional Information

Employees report to our office each morning to pick up their assigned company vehicle and equipment before traveling to scheduled customer locations. This position services customers throughout North Georgia and surrounding areas.

The company vehicle is to be used for work purposes only. A company credit card will be provided for approved business expenses, fuel purchases, and emergencies.

No fire protection experience is required. We are looking for someone who wants to build a long-term career in the fire protection industry while learning valuable technical and customer service skills.

Pay: $45,760.00 - $90,000.00 per year
