Americana Outdoors is seeking an experienced CNC operator to become the lead operator of our Murata CNC Turret Punch and Laser Combination Machine.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced sheet metal fabrication professional who understands that the fastest and most efficient part is not always made with the laser. We are looking for someone who appreciates turret punching, nibbling, forming tools, tooling optimization, and efficient sheet metal processing.

If you have experience with Murata, Muratec, Amada, Wiedemann, Trumpf, Finn-Power, Prima Power, Salvagnini, or similar equipment, we would like to speak with you.

What You'll Do

· Set up and operate a Murata CNC turret punch and laser combination machine.

· Select tooling and processes to maximize efficiency and quality.

· Determine when punching, nibbling, forming, or laser cutting is the best manufacturing method.

· Read blueprints and inspect parts for accuracy.

· Perform routine machine maintenance and operator-level troubleshooting.

· Work with engineering and production to improve manufacturability and throughput.

Ideal Experience

· CNC turret punch press operation.

· CNC laser cutting.

· Sheet metal fabrication.

· Tooling selection and setup.

· Nibbling and forming operations.

· Blueprint reading and precision measurement.

This is not an entry-level position. Previous CNC manufacturing experience is required.
