Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled HVAC/R Service Technician to join our team and deliver exceptional service in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and related mechanical systems. In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of HVAC/R equipment across various property types. Your expertise will ensure optimal system performance, energy efficiency, and safety for our clients. Responsibilities

Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance on HVAC/R systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration units, and plumbing fixtures.
Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, blueprints, and HVAC design documents to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions.
Conduct equipment repairs using appropriate tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment; replace or refurbish components as needed.
Install new HVAC/R systems following industry standards and project specifications; ensure proper calibration and operation.
Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot complex issues involving ammonia refrigeration systems and other specialized equipment.
Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports documenting work performed; communicate effectively with clients regarding system status and recommended actions.
Ensure all work complies with safety standards, building codes, and environmental regulations; operate company vehicles responsibly adhering to all driving requirements.

Experience

Proven experience as a service technician specializing in HVAC/R systems with a strong background in mechanical maintenance and repair with at least five years of experience.
Hands-on experience with construction projects involving HVAC design or property maintenance is highly desirable.
Familiarity with schematics, blueprints, electrical wiring diagrams, and refrigeration system layouts.
Mechanical aptitude with proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters; welding skills are advantageous.
Field service experience working on residential and commercial equipment of all types, including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration systems, or commercial HVAC equipment.

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
