Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Plumber to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to start a rewarding career in plumbing. As an Apprentice Plumber, you will work under the guidance of experienced plumbers, gaining hands-on experience and learning the essential skills needed in the plumbing industry. This role involves assisting with various plumbing tasks and projects while developing your technical abilities.

Duties

Assist licensed plumbers with the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems.
Read and interpret blueprints to understand plumbing layouts and specifications.
Use hand tools and power tools to assemble and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures.
Conduct field service tasks, including troubleshooting plumbing issues at client locations.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and materials are properly stored.
Learn to apply basic math skills for measuring and calculating pipe lengths and fittings.
Support HVAC-related tasks as needed, gaining exposure to heating and cooling systems.

Skills

Proficient in blueprint reading to effectively understand plumbing designs.
Ability to assemble various plumbing components using hand tools and power tools.
Strong mechanical knowledge to assist in diagnosing plumbing issues.
Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
Experience as a maintenance person or familiarity with general maintenance tasks is a plus.
Eagerness to learn new skills and techniques in the plumbing field.
