What you’ll do

Respond to service tickets and diagnose issues across AV, networking, lighting, shades, security, and access control systems.
Complete repairs on site, or perform remote triage and escalate cleanly when a deeper fix is needed.
Communicate with clients like a pro — arrival timing, what’s wrong, what’s next, and confirmation when it’s done.
Test thoroughly after every visit, confirm everything the client touches is working, and spot ways to prevent repeat calls.
Document your work — parts, photos, test results, open items, next steps — so the next person never has to guess.
Coordinate with the Service Manager, programmers, project managers, and field crew to protect client commitments.
Keep a clean, organized work area, protect finished homes, and maintain your tools, parts inventory, and vehicle readiness.

What we’re looking for

Experience servicing residential low-voltage systems — AV, automation, networking, security, lighting, or shades.
Strong, disciplined troubleshooting: a step-by-step approach to finding root cause, not just swapping parts.
A professional presence and clear communication, with comfort working in high-end residential environments.
Ability to read basic plans, wiring notes, rack layouts, labels, and equipment documentation.
Comfort using mobile software for tickets, time entry, notes, and photos.
Valid driver’s license, a reliable driving history, and willingness to travel to local client sites.
Able to lift and carry equipment, climb ladders, work in tight spaces, and use hand and power tools safely.

Nice to have

Hands-on experience with Crestron, Lutron, Alarm.com, DSC/Qolsys, surveillance, access control, distributed audio/video, or motorized shades.
Background in luxury residential service, warranty work, or other high-expectation client environments.
Manufacturer certifications — or the drive to go earn them. We invest in training.
