Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Technician specializing as a Bodyman to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing, restoring, and maintaining vehicle bodies with precision and care. Your expertise in auto body repair, sheet metal work, welding, and finishing will ensure vehicles are returned to their original condition or better. Duties

Perform collision repairs, dent removal, and panel replacement using auto body repair techniques
Utilize MIG welding, soldering, and other welding methods to restore vehicle structures and sheet metal components
Fabricate custom parts or repairs using fabrication tools and techniques to meet specific vehicle needs
Apply auto painting techniques including airless paint spraying for flawless finishes
Conduct auto glass replacement and repairs ensuring safety and quality standards are met
Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for assembly, detailing, and finishing work
Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks such as auto restoration projects, auto estimating, and general automotive repair when needed

Requirements

Proven experience in auto body repair is highly preferred
Strong knowledge of auto body repair processes, sheet metal work, and automotive painting techniques
Proficiency with MIG welding, soldering, fabrication, and the use of hand tools and power tools
Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance, auto restoration, and automotive repair practices
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during repairs or parts handling
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients about repair processes
Experience with auto glass installation and auto estimating is a plus
Valid experience in auto body shop environments with familiarity in auto painting procedures such as airless paint spraying
