Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented HVAC Controls Project Manager to lead and oversee the planning, execution, and completion of complex HVAC control system projects. This role is vital in ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. Duties

Lead the full lifecycle of HVAC controls projects, from initial planning through commissioning and closeout, ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgets.
Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, engineers, and vendors to develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, and resource allocation.
Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6, HeavyBid, and Civil 3D to create accurate project schedules and cost estimates.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to HVAC control systems to ensure precise implementation.
Manage contracts, change orders, and procurement processes while maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders.
Oversee construction site activities related to HVAC controls installation, ensuring compliance with safety standards and project specifications.
Use construction estimating techniques to forecast costs accurately and manage project budgets effectively.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality control, and adherence to design schematics.
Facilitate project meetings, document progress reports, and update project schedules proactively using Primavera P6 or similar tools.
Ensure seamless project coordination by managing time effectively across multiple tasks while maintaining high standards of construction management.

Experience

Proven experience managing HVAC controls projects within a construction environment with a focus on building automation systems.
Extensive knowledge of construction site operations including blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and site safety protocols.
Strong background in construction estimating, contracts management, and project scheduling using Primavera P6 or equivalent software.
Familiarity with construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, Civil 3D, or similar platforms for document control and project tracking.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams through complex projects while maintaining excellent communication skills.
Prior hands-on experience with HVAC controls installation or related mechanical systems is highly desirable.
Ability to read technical drawings accurately and understand schematic diagrams related to HVAC systems.
Knowledge of civil engineering principles (Civil 3D) as they relate to site layout and integration of mechanical systems is a plus.
Strong organizational skills with effective time management capabilities for managing multiple projects simultaneously.
