Journeyman Electrician – PWADC

Piggly Wiggly Alabama Distributing Company is looking for an experienced Journeyman Electrician to join our maintenance team. This role is ideal for someone with strong hands-on electrical experience in an industrial, warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment.

We are looking for a dependable electrician who can troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems across our facility while supporting daily operations and keeping equipment running safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities include:

Troubleshooting and repairing electrical issues on warehouse and facility equipment
Performing preventive maintenance on electrical systems, panels, motors, lighting, and related components
Reading and interpreting electrical diagrams, schematics, and blueprints
Supporting maintenance projects, upgrades, and equipment installations
Ensuring all work is completed safely and in compliance with electrical codes
Working closely with the maintenance team to reduce downtime and improve facility operations

Requirements:

Ideal candidate:

Holds a Journeyman Electrician card/license
Has several years of electrical experience, preferably in an industrial or commercial setting
Is confident troubleshooting electrical systems independently
Understands code compliance and safe work practices
Is dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Is open to pursuing or obtaining a Master Electrician card/license in the future

Preferred but not required:

Experience with warehouse equipment, conveyors, motors, controls, or facility maintenance
Interest in long-term growth with the company
Willingness to continue advancing certifications and licensing
