Production & Job Shop fabrication of all types of components ranging from small intricate sheet metal items to large multi-part weldments requiring overhead crane.

Various types of welding to include: Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG), Gas Metal Arc Welding (MIG), and Electrode welding (Stick). Projects requiring use of either Plasma or Acetylene cutting torch along with working knowledge of metal reaction to welding, cutting, grinding, and all aspects of applying heat.

Must be able to read blueprints, Autocad drawings, sketches, and verbal instructions to perform tasks or project to achieve required results. Rigging knowledge, overhead crane operations, handling large components in conjunction with team members is a must.

Position will require passing various pipe and plate tests in multiple positions.

Requirements:

10 plus years minimum experience in the fitting, fabrication and welding of various structural components (tubes, angles, channels, plate).
Will be required to pass weld tests in all positions
Provide all current weld certificates
Must be able to perform Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG), Gas Metal Arc Welding (MIG), and Electrode welding (Stick).
Must be able to cut metal using both Plasma or Acetylene cutting torch.
Must be able to recognize and repair bad welds.
Must be able to maintain and setup all welding machines as needed for different thickness and material types.
Must be able to read blue prints, AutoCAD drawings, sketches, and some verbal instructions to achieve required results. Must understand and be able to achieve required tolerances listed on drawings.
General mathematical knowledge.
Ability to properly use and read a measuring tape and other measuring tools.
Must be self-motivated and able to maintain acceptable levels of performance with minimal supervision.
Must be detailed oriented and possess excellent organizational and time management skills.
Must be analytical and able to solve problems.
Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
Must be ethical and honest.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs. repeatedly throughout the day
Experience operating a forklift, overhead crane and other material handling tools, safely and efficiently.
Must be mechanically inclined.
Must be able to pass a company required drug test.
Must be willing to work overtime when production requirements demand.
