Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various settings, including commercial, industrial, and renovation projects. Your expertise will ensure safe, efficient, and reliable electrical operations that meet all safety standards and electrical codes. Responsibilities

Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety standards.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical diagrams, and electrical schematics to accurately execute projects.
Use hand tools and power tools effectively to perform installation and maintenance tasks on low voltage and high voltage systems.
Work on construction sites, renovation projects, or industrial facilities to ensure electrical systems are installed correctly and efficiently.
Program and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in industrial automation processes.
Conduct routine inspections using tools such as ohmmeters to diagnose electrical issues accurately.
Collaborate with construction teams, frame carpenters, electricians, and handyman professionals to coordinate project tasks smoothly.
Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and safety inspections to ensure compliance with regulations.
Adhere strictly to safety protocols while working with high voltage systems or performing complex electrical tasks.

Experience

Proven experience as an industrial electrician or commercial electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems in construction or renovation environments.
Hands-on experience reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams for electrical installations.
Familiarity with low voltage wiring systems as well as high voltage power distribution.
Skilled in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers along with power tools necessary for electrical work.
Experience working on construction sites or industrial facilities with a focus on safety compliance.
Knowledge of NEC regulations governing electrical installations across various settings.
Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently using diagnostic tools like ohmmeters or circuit testers.
Previous handyman experience or frame carpentry skills are a plus for versatile project support.

Pay: $27.00 - $34.02 per hour
