Description:

Job Summary: Responsible for the general care, maintenance and upkeep of the physical facilities. Must be familiar with building operations and preventative maintenance. Must possess extensive knowledge of all trades, be familiar with their means and methods of operation and products. Administer the operations of the Engineering Department for all facility repairs, improvements, and new installations at the club. Works with the Building and Maintenance Committee. Makes monthly reports to the committee on progress of the department’s efforts and capital projects. Must be available 24 hours a day to respond to club emergencies.

Requirements

Duties/Responsibilities:

Responsible for the repair and maintenance of steam boilers, their treatment systems, refrigeration, HVAC, electrical and fire protections systems.
Responsible for the maintenance and repair of all buildings and structures, whether permanent or temporary
Responsible for the constructions or repair of furniture, shelving, displays, special event structures, signage, etc. for club
Maintain and oversee all utilities serving the entire complex
Maintain and oversee Pool Facility
Issues and maintains all keys and core control for the entire Club complex
Maintain all records and files relating to the Engineering and Maintenance of the Club. This includes all structural blueprints of the buildings, structures and associated systems
Monitor and oversee annual 3rd of July fireworks display
Develops bid specifications for larger projects and Capital projects
Solicits and reviews bids for capital projects
Hires and dismisses all department employees according to the rules and regulations of the club
Delegates duties and responsibilities
Keeps detailed records of employee performance on scheduled basis
Makes weekly work schedules
Set short- and long-term goals for employees
Schedules all safety training for employees
Explain and train employees on systems, maintenance schedules, responsibilities, etc.
Prepare a preliminary department budget including all staffing requirements, operating and capital projects
Monitors and reviews department expenses, communicating forecasted adjustments as necessary
Order all equipment and supplies for department
Verifies and approves all department/facility-related invoices
Maintain accurate project and capital costs records
Control and monitor all tools and equipment
