We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and organized Construction Project Superintendent / Project Engineer to join our growing team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to build a long-term career and grow into a leadership role within the company.

Position Summary

This is a hybrid field and office position responsible for managing the day-to-day execution of construction projects while supporting project administration from preconstruction through closeout.

The successful candidate will oversee jobsite operations, coordinate subcontractors, maintain project documentation, process RFIs and submittals, review invoices, assist with procurement and buyout, communicate with owners and design teams, and help ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Projects include commercial tenant improvements, multifamily renovations, HOA capital improvement projects, occupied renovations, custom residential construction, and select ground-up construction projects.

Primary Responsibilities

Manage daily jobsite operations while maintaining safety, quality, and schedule.

Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspections, deliveries, and field activities.

Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and project details.

Process and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, work orders, and project documentation.

Assist with subcontractor buyout, procurement, purchasing, and vendor coordination.

Review subcontractor and vendor invoices for accuracy and approval.

Prepare daily reports, progress photos, project logs, meeting minutes, and documentation.

Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, consultants, inspectors, and project managers.

Conduct quality control inspections and verify work complies with project documents and applicable building codes.

Assist with project scheduling, look-ahead planning, budgeting, and project coordination meetings.

Manage punch lists, project closeout, warranties, as-built drawings, and final documentation.

Maintain a professional, organized, and safe jobsite at all times.

Represent Envision Builders professionally with clients, subcontractors, and the public.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, Project Engineer, Field Engineer, or similar construction management role.

Experience with commercial construction, tenant improvements, multifamily, HOA renovations, and/or residential construction.

Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, details, and shop drawings.

Working knowledge of commercial and residential building codes and construction practices.

Experience processing RFIs, submittals, change orders, work orders, and project documentation.

Experience reviewing subcontractor and vendor invoices.

Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

General computer proficiency

Experience with additional construction management software is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in:

Commercial tenant improvements

Occupied multifamily renovations

Ground-up construction

Estimating and quantity takeoffs

Scheduling and project planning

Procurement and subcontractor buyout

Budget tracking and cost control

OSHA 30 Certification

First Aid / CPR Certification

Work Location

Projects are located throughout the Puget Sound region, including Seattle, Bellevue, Kirkland, Issaquah, Renton, Kent, Tacoma, Federal Way, Auburn, and surrounding communities. Daily reporting location will vary depending on the active project.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
