Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented HVAC Sheet Metal Journeyman to join our team. In this role, you will leverage your extensive mechanical knowledge and craftsmanship to install, repair, and maintain sheet metal systems for heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), refrigeration, and related mechanical systems. Your expertise will ensure the delivery of high-quality work on diverse projects while adhering to safety standards and technical specifications.

Duties

Fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal components for HVAC systems using schematics and HVAC design plans
Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to accurately execute projects
Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on mechanical systems including boilers, refrigeration units, and building automation systems
Operate equipment safely while complying with all safety protocols

Requirements

Proven construction experience with a focus on sheet metal installation or fabrication
Skilled in reading schematics, HVAC design plans, and technical diagrams
Mechanical knowledge of HVAC systems
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (including driver if applicable)
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team
OSHA 10 or 30
Pass a background check
Operate and work from scissor/aerial lifts
