Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Carpenter to join our residential remodeling team. The successful candidate will perform a variety of carpentry and construction tasks on home renovation projects, including kitchen and bathroom remodels, basement finishing, home additions, and whole-house renovations.

This role requires strong craftsmanship, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with project managers, subcontractors, and homeowners to deliver high-quality results. The ideal candidate has experience in residential construction and takes pride in creating beautiful, functional spaces for clients.

Duties and Responsibilities

Perform rough and finish carpentry work for residential remodeling projects.
Frame walls, ceilings, and other structural elements in accordance with construction plans and building codes.
Install doors, windows, trim, baseboards, crown molding, cabinetry, and other finish carpentry components.
Assist with kitchen, bathroom, basement, and whole-home renovation projects.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications to ensure accurate execution of work.
Install drywall, perform minor repairs, and prepare surfaces for finishing as required.
Safely operate power tools, hand tools, and construction equipment.
Assist with demolition and site preparation while protecting existing finishes and maintaining a clean work environment.
Coordinate with project managers and other trades to ensure projects remain on schedule and meet quality standards.
Follow all company safety policies and maintain a professional and organized job site.
Perform general construction and repair work as needed to support residential remodeling projects.

Qualifications and Experience

Previous experience as a carpenter in residential construction or home remodeling.
Strong knowledge of rough and finish carpentry techniques.
Experience with kitchen and bathroom renovations, basement finishing, and home additions is preferred.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and common construction equipment safely and effectively.
Knowledge of drywall, trim work, flooring installation, and other residential finish work is an asset.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality craftsmanship.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Physical ability to lift materials, climb ladders, and perform demanding construction tasks safely.

Pay: $50.00 - $75.00 per hour
