Duties

Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration units, and related mechanical equipment.
Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs.
Conduct field service visits to residential, commercial, or industrial properties to perform routine maintenance or emergency repairs.
Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment to test electrical circuits and repair mechanical components effectively.
Perform plumbing work related to HVAC systems, including pipe repairs and ammonia refrigeration setups where applicable.
Maintain detailed service records, work logs, and reports documenting all inspections, repairs, and parts used.
Ensure safety protocols are followed during all operations.

Requirements

Proven experience as an HVAC technician or service technician with hands-on knowledge of HVAC/R (refrigeration) systems.
EPA Type 2 Card.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and understand HVAC design principles.
Experience with plumbing systems, appliance repair, boiler operation, and property maintenance is highly desirable.
Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems and the use of diagnostic tools like ohmmeters is a plus.
Ability to perform welding tasks safely and effectively; experience with equipment repair is essential.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating drivers preferred.
Demonstrated ability to work independently in the field while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to maintenance challenges.

Pay: $30.00 - $60.00 per hour
