We are seeking a qualified and experienced Sprinkler System Technician to join our team for a significant project at the Coatesville VA Medical Center.

Scope of Work:
The Sprinkler System Technician will be responsible for executing an obstruction inspection, testing, and maintenance of the facility's sprinkler systems in accordance with NFPA 25 standards and applicable codes. This includes internal pipe assessments, valve inspections, FDC hydrostatic testing, hydrant flow testing, and replacement of sprinkler gauges.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive internal inspections and obstruction investigations of sprinkler systems.
- Perform fire department connection (FDC) hydrostatic tests and hydrant flow tests.
- Replace sprinkler gauges across multiple buildings.
- Coordinate system shutdowns with the designated VA Point of Contact (POC).
- Adhere to all VA safety protocols and ensure compliance with NFPA 25 standards.
- Provide detailed documentation of inspections, findings, and recommended corrective actions.
- Submit inspection reports to the VA POC within five business days after work completion.

Qualifications:
- Certification or license in fire protection or sprinkler system maintenance.
- Proven experience in sprinkler system inspection, testing, and maintenance.
- Familiarity with NFPA 25 standards.
- Ability to work Monday through Friday during administrative hours (8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.).
