Are you an experienced HVAC professional ready to take the lead on top-tier installations? At Thompson Heating & Air we are looking for a skilled, motivated, and detail-oriented Lead HVAC Installer to join our growing team. We specialize in high-quality residential and light commercial installations and we pride ourselves on doing the job right the first time.

What You Will Do:

Lead and manage residential and commercial HVAC system installations from start to finish
Mentor and oversee junior installers and helpers on the job site
Ensure all installations comply with local codes, safety standards, and company guidelines
Maintain clean and organized work areas, vehicles, and equipment
Communicate clearly with customers, general contractors, and project managers
Read and interpret blueprints and job specifications
Troubleshoot system issues and make necessary adjustments for optimal performance
Read and follow all job notes thoroughly before arriving on site

What We Are Looking For:

4 or more years of HVAC installation experience — lead or supervisory role preferred
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, ductwork, controls, and tools
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents
Experience communicating with general contractors and project managers
EPA Universal or Type II certification required
Valid SC driver's license with clean driving record
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in attics, crawlspaces, and outdoors in all weather conditions
Must read and follow all job notes thoroughly before arriving on site
Must pass drug screening
Must carry own liability insurance

Pay: $30 to $45 per hour depending on experience
