Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing and construction, with the ability to work effectively on various job sites. This position requires a hands-on approach to assembling, building, and installing plumbing systems, ensuring that all work meets industry standards and safety regulations.

Duties

Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings.
Assemble and plumb various fixtures, pipes, and appliances according to blueprints and specifications.
Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for plumbing tasks.
Conduct inspections to identify plumbing issues and recommend solutions.
Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites, including carpenters and HVAC technicians.
Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and regulations during all work performed.
Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
Execute heavy lifting tasks as required for the installation of plumbing systems.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Plumbing Technician or in a related field is preferred.
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in plumbing construction.
Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods.
Knowledge of HVAC systems is a plus but not mandatory.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team on construction sites.
