What You'll Do

This position involves both mobile dockside service (company work van provided) and work at our Fort Lauderdale boatyard facility. You'll diagnose, troubleshoot, service, and repair a wide variety of yacht systems aboard vessels ranging from 20 to 140 feet.

Responsibilities include:

Gas and diesel engine diagnostics and repairs
Marine generator service and troubleshooting
12V and 24V DC electrical systems
Marine plumbing systems
Hydraulic systems
Marine air conditioning and refrigeration systems
Preventative maintenance and scheduled service
Accurate documentation of labor, findings, and completed work
Preparing repair estimates, sourcing parts, and managing jobs from diagnosis through completion

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter who enjoys solving complex mechanical and electrical problems while delivering first-class service to our clients.

Qualifications:

Minimum 4 years of hands-on marine technician experience
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
Experience working independently with minimal supervision
Professional appearance and positive attitude
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Pride in producing high-quality workmanship
Ability to accurately document work performed and time spent
Experience estimating repairs and sourcing parts
Basic hand tools (specialty tools and equipment provided)

Requirements

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
Reliable, dependable, and punctual
Ability to work safely in both marina and boatyard environments
