Job Summary

DELIcious Management Company is seeking a dependable, self-motivated Maintenance Technician to support multiple East Bay Deli and Mai Poke restaurant locations. This position is responsible for preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs that keep our restaurants operating safely and efficiently.

Schedule

Full-time, Non-Exempt
Approximately 5–6 days per week
Approximately 8-hour shifts
Schedule may include evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

As a Maintenance Technician, you will:

Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on restaurant equipment and building systems
Maintain HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and electrical equipment
Troubleshoot and repair refrigeration systems, including walk-in coolers, freezers, and reach-in units
Perform general repairs to doors, lighting, fixtures, plumbing, and other facility components
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from restaurant management
Maintain maintenance logs and document inspections and repairs
Coordinate with outside vendors for major repairs and warranty work
Maintain organized tools and supplies
Follow OSHA, food safety, and company safety standards
Identify recurring maintenance concerns and recommend corrective action

Qualifications

We’re looking for someone with:

Minimum two (2) years of maintenance experience in a commercial, restaurant, facility maintenance, or similar environment
Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and refrigeration systems
Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot mechanical equipment
Strong communication and documentation skills
Ability to work independently across multiple restaurant locations
Valid driver’s license
Clean driving record
Reliable transportation

Commercial refrigeration experience is preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to:

Frequently stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and climb ladders
Lift, carry, push, and pull equipment and materials weighing up to 50 pounds
Safely operate hand and power tools
Work in varying temperatures, including walk-in coolers/freezers and commercial kitchens
Travel independently between restaurant locations
Safely operate a motor vehicle as part of regular job duties

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
