Position SummaryThe Lead HVAC Installer is responsible for leading residential HVAC installation projects from start to finish while ensuring exceptional quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to mentor installation team members while maintaining company standards and safety practices.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and complete residential HVAC system installations, replacements, and upgrades.
Install furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, thermostats, and indoor air quality equipment.
Perform system startups, testing, and quality checks to ensure proper operation.
Diagnose installation challenges and provide effective solutions in the field.
Lead and train installation helpers and junior technicians.
Ensure all installations meet manufacturer specifications, company standards, and local codes.
Communicate professionally with homeowners throughout the installation process.
Explain system operation, maintenance requirements, and features to customers.
Maintain accurate job documentation, photos, and installation records.
Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in a clean and professional condition.
Deliver an exceptional customer experience while representing Around the Clock.

Qualifications

Previous residential HVAC installation experience required.
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, installation practices, and troubleshooting.
Experience leading installation teams preferred.
Ability to read and interpret HVAC diagrams and installation specifications.
Strong understanding of airflow, refrigeration, electrical, and duct systems.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in attics, crawl spaces, and varying weather conditions.

Preferred Skills

Experience installing major HVAC brands and equipment.
EPA Section 608 Certification preferred.
HVAC certifications (NATE, manufacturer certifications, or similar) preferred.
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and complete projects efficiently.
Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving skills.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
