Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Level 3 HVAC Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and installing complex heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems across various commercial and industrial properties. Your expertise will ensure optimal system performance, energy efficiency, and safety standards are met. Duties

Perform comprehensive troubleshooting and repair of HVAC systems, including refrigeration units, boilers, air conditioning units, and building automation systems.
Install new HVAC equipment following detailed schematics, HVAC design plans, and electrical diagrams to ensure precise system setup.
Conduct routine maintenance on mechanical systems to maximize efficiency and extend equipment lifespan.
Diagnose electrical issues using tools such as ohmmeters and perform electrical diagnostics on complex electrical systems within HVAC units.
Repair plumbing components related to HVAC systems and refrigeration equipment while adhering to safety standards.
Utilize hand tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools to execute repairs or modifications as needed.
Maintain detailed service records, complete shift reports, and document all work performed for quality assurance and compliance purposes.
Provide excellent customer service by clearly communicating system issues, repair processes, and maintenance recommendations to clients.
Assist with HVAC system design modifications or upgrades based on client needs or building automation requirements.
Ensure all work complies with EPA regulations regarding refrigerant handling and environmental safety standards.

Qualifications

Proven experience in construction, service technician roles, or property maintenance with a focus on HVAC/R systems.
Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience repairing HVAC systems, refrigeration units, boilers, and electrical systems.
Ability to read schematics, technical manuals, HVAC design plans, and building automation system diagrams accurately.
Skilled in troubleshooting equipment issues using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters.
Experience with HVAC system installation, maintenance, repair, and equipment troubleshooting in commercial or industrial settings.
Knowledge of plumbing systems related to HVAC applications along with proficiency in welding and equipment repair techniques.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to operate a driver vehicle if required.
Certifications including EPA refrigerant handling certification; additional certifications in electrical diagnostics or ammonia refrigeration are a plus.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally.

Pay: $22.56 - $34.40 per hour
