Senior Electrical Engineer – PCB & Hardware Design

This role offers the opportunity to design, develop, test, and validate mission-critical electronic hardware used in aircraft, missile, and space applications.

What You'll Do

As a member of our engineering team, you will:

Design, develop, and test analog and digital electronic circuits for aerospace and defense applications.
Create PCB schematics, layouts, fabrication packages, and manufacturing documentation using industry-standard EDA tools (Altium Designer preferred).
Design hardware capable of operating in demanding environments including vibration, shock, temperature extremes, and EMI/EMC conditions.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to define hardware requirements and system architectures.
Perform circuit simulation, design verification, peer reviews, and hardware validation.
Develop and execute test plans for prototype and production hardware.
Troubleshoot electrical hardware issues through root cause analysis and corrective action.
Utilize laboratory equipment including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, power supplies, and signal generators to validate hardware performance.
Prepare engineering documentation including design specifications, test reports, manufacturing drawings, and technical data packages.
Support prototype builds, manufacturing, integration, and system testing.
Stay current on emerging PCB technologies, embedded hardware trends, and aerospace engineering best practices.

Required Qualifications

U.S. Citizen.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related engineering discipline plus:
6+ years of relevant experience
OR Master's degree with 4+ years of experience
OR PhD with 2+ years of experience.
Experience designing analog and digital circuits.
Experience creating PCB schematics and layouts using PCB CAD software (Altium Designer preferred).
Experience with laboratory test equipment including:
Oscilloscopes
Logic analyzers
Digital multimeters
Strong understanding of electronic design principles and hardware debugging.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Education & Experience

One of the following:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or related engineering discipline) with 6+ years of relevant experience.
Master's degree with 4+ years of relevant experience.
PhD with 2+ years of relevant experience.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $112,840.48 per year
