HVAC Technician

Summary of Position

The HVAC Technician is responsible for the repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of HVAC equipment and related control systems. This position may also support other Engineering functions and participate in special projects as needed.

Essential Functions

Repair and maintain HVAC systems and related equipment using hand and power tools.
Move, install, and adjust fixtures, motors, and other electrical and mechanical equipment.
Maintain the building compressed air system.
Maintain production chillers.

Marginal Functions

Assist with other building maintenance and repair activities as needed.

Qualifications

Education, Experience, and Knowledge

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in HVAC repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Working knowledge of electrical components and wiring systems.

Certifications

Light Commercial Service Technician Certificate required.

Skills and Competencies

Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

Pay: $24.40 - $30.00 per hour
