What You'll Do

A Commercial Chiller Technician diagnose large-tonnage systems, leads complex diagnostics, installations, and repairs of large-scale systems such as chillers, cooling towers, RTUs (Rooftop Units), and Building Management Systems (BMS)
Advanced Diagnostics & Repair: Handle cooling towers/pumps/motors and troubleshooting heavy-duty heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and commercial refrigeration equipment.
Leadership & Mentorship: Overseeing junior technicians, providing on-the-job training, and ensuring workplace safety standards are met.
Preventive Maintenance: Managing central plant operations to maximize equipment uptime and energy efficiency for large properties.
Client Communication: Interacting directly with facility managers to explain repairs, provide quotes, and recommend system upgrades
Represent CAMS with professionalism and urgency on every job

What We’re Looking For

5–7 years of hands-on commercial and/or industrial chiller experience
Advanced start-up, warranty, troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across commercial chiller systems
Previous VRF experience is preferred
Current EPA Type II Certification required, NATE & factory training on major equipment brands are highly preferred.
Deep knowledge of electrical schematics, refrigerant handling, brazing/welding, and computerized chiller/HVAC software/controls.
Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
