Job Title: Building Automation System (BAS) Project Manager

Location: Edgewater, MD

Department: Building Automation Systems Division

This role requires a hands-on leader capable of managing all aspects of BAS

System Design & Documentation:Lead the design and engineering of BAS systems, including selecting appropriate hardware, software, and network configurations.Create and review system drawings, submittals, and as-built documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications.Oversee equipment orders, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with project requirements.

Project Management:Manage the entire lifecycle of BAS projects from initiation to completion, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.Coordinate and manage internal and subcontractor technicians, providing guidance and technical support as needed.Monitor project progress, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions to maintain project schedules and budgets.Ensure all projects adhere to industry standards, safety regulations, and client expectations. Service Management:Oversee and respond to BAS service calls, ensuring prompt resolution of issues to maintain customer satisfaction.Develop and manage service contracts, offering clients ongoing support and maintenance for their BAS systems.Establish and maintain a responsive and efficient service department to handle all BAS related inquiries and issues.

Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Building Automation, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in building automation systems, with a strong background in project management.Expertise in BAS system design, including HVAC controls, lighting controls, and energy management systems.Strong knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations related to building automation.Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide technicians and subcontractors.Strong financial acumen, with experience managing P&L and achieving profitability targets.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.

Pay: $125,000.00 - $165,000.00 per year
