We're looking for a skilled, dependable Maintenance Carpenter to join our growing team.

Position Summary

The Maintenance Carpenter will perform a variety of residential repair, maintenance, and carpentry tasks for homeowners. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, working independently, and delivering quality workmanship while providing outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

Complete residential maintenance and repair projects.
Perform finish carpentry, trim work, door and window repairs, and minor framing.
Repair drywall, flooring, cabinetry, decks, and other interior and exterior components.
Install and replace fixtures, hardware, and finish materials.
Troubleshoot maintenance issues and recommend practical solutions.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Communicate professionally with homeowners and project managers.
Accurately document completed work and materials used.
Assist with renovation projects as needed.

Qualifications

3+ years of carpentry or residential maintenance experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of residential construction methods and building materials.
Experience with finish carpentry and general home repairs.
Ability to work independently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work.

Preferred Skills

Experience with painting, drywall finishing, tile repairs, and basic plumbing or electrical repairs.
Ability to read plans and follow project specifications.
OSHA safety knowledge is a plus.
