Join our dynamic team as an A&P Mechanic with IA (Inspection Authorization) preferred status and become a vital part of our aviation maintenance operations. In this role, you will be responsible for performing comprehensive aircraft repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities to ensure safety, compliance, and optimal performance. Responsibilities

Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on general aviation aircraft
Troubleshoot, inspect, repair, and service airframes, engines, systems, and components
Perform aircraft inspections in accordance with applicable maintenance manuals, FAA regulations, and company procedures
Accurately complete logbook entries, work orders, inspection records, and maintenance documentation
Research and comply with applicable ADs, service bulletins, maintenance manuals, and technical data
Coordinate with the Director of Maintenance and other team members to keep aircraft moving efficiently
Maintain a clean, safe, and professional shop environment
Communicate clearly with management, coworkers, and customers when needed
Strong knowledge of aircraft structures including airframes and sheet metal fabrication techniques.
Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, CAD files (including AutoCAD), and engineering troubleshooting documents.
Experience with aviation maintenance facilities or flight line operations within the aerospace industry.
Electrical experience with avionics systems, electrical schematics, soldering techniques, and electrical troubleshooting tools.
Familiarity with military aviation standards and practices is a plus.
Hands-on experience with hand tools such as torque wrenches, calipers, micrometers, power tools, soldering irons, ammeters, ohmmeters, and specialized industrial equipment.
Ability to perform precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and other measurement instruments.
Knowledge of FAA regulations including FAR Part 43 (Maintenance)
Mechanical knowledge related to aircraft systems repair—hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical—and vehicle maintenance experience is advantageous.
Strong problem-solving skills involving root cause analysis for complex mechanical or electrical issues.
Ability to work safely in high-stakes environments requiring heavy lifting and the use of specialized industrial tools while following safety protocols.

Qualifications

FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate required
Inspection Authorization preferred
General aviation maintenance experience required
Strong troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
Must be able to read and interpret maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams, parts manuals, and technical publications
Must be able to complete accurate maintenance records and logbook entries
Valid driver’s license required

Pay: $22.00 - $50.00 per hour
