CELO Trident Fasteners, Inc. is the U.S. branch of CELO, a global company that designs and manufactures precision screws for industrial applications. We are looking for a reliable, motivated Production Operator to join our 1st shift team.

Job Summary

Pay: 19.50–21.50 per hour

Schedule: 1st shift, Shift 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m.

Location: On-site in Kentwood, Michigan

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. Experience with thread rolling machines is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. In this role, you will set up, operate, and maintain thread rolling machinery to produce high-quality threaded components. Your attention to detail, commitment to safety, and focus on efficiency will help ensure consistent production standards in a fast-paced environment where craftsmanship and technical skill are valued.

Responsibilities

Set up and calibrate thread rolling machines according to technical specifications and blueprints
Operate the thread rolling machinery safely and efficiently to produce threaded parts with precision
Interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and shop math to ensure accurate machining processes
Conduct quality inspections using precision measuring instruments to verify thread dimensions and surface finish
Maintain machine tools by performing routine adjustments, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring optimal performance
Follow safety protocols rigorously, including proper use of hand tools, measuring devices, and safety equipment
Collaborate with team members on machine operation, assembly, and metal fabrication tasks as needed

Experience

Proven experience operating thread rolling machines or similar metal forming equipment in a manufacturing environment
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints (GD&T)
Familiarity with CNC laser cutting, CNC programming, CNC milling machines, CNC lathe, plasma cutting, and electrical discharge machining is a plus
Hands-on experience with shop math, measurement techniques, and quality control procedures in machining processes
Knowledge of safety standards in production environments and adherence to safety protocols at all times
Ability to operate various manufacturing tools including press brake machines, stamping presses, forming machines, and hand tools
Prior experience with sheet metal fabrication, welding, measurement instruments, and assembly processes is advantageous
