First Care Heating and Air is seeking an Experienced HVAC RTU & Boiler Service Technician to join our growing, customer-focused team. The ideal candidate is skilled in diagnosing and repairing residential & Commercial HVAC systems, communicates clearly with homeowners or location contact, and takes pride in delivering reliable, high-quality service. Boiler repair/install experience and Light Commercial repair/install experience is a must.

What You’ll Do

Perform diagnostic, maintenance, and repair services on RTU's
Perform diagnostic, maintenance, and repair services on Boiler
Perform diagnostic, maintenance, and repair services on residential HVAC systems
Provide homeowners and contacts with clear, professional recommendations and options
Complete required documentation and maintain accurate service records
Support customers with emergency/after-hours calls as needed (on a rotating schedule)
Follow company safety protocols and high service standards
Participate in ongoing training and development to advance technical skills
Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive work culture

What We’re Looking For

4+ years of RTU and Boiler service experience
3+ years of residential HVAC service experience preferred
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
EPA certification required
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Excellent communication and customer service ability
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Physical demands: Reaching, bending, stooping, climbing ladders, walking, sitting, crawling, squatting. Holding, carrying objects and lifting – including heavy objects such as equipment up to 300 pounds. Use of tools and equipment such as hand tools and ladders including extension ladders.

Work environment: Environment consists of extreme variations due to conditions, including but not limited to: heat, cold, wet, wind, sunlight, absence of light, insects, animals and other conditions deemed by worksite.

Experience:

Proven experience as an HVAC Service Tech for RTU's and Boilers
Proven experience as an HVAC Service Tech or similar role
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation, repair, and maintenance procedures
Familiarity with field service work and property maintenance
Proficient in air conditioning and heating systems
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues quickly
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
