Remodeling Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced Remodeling Project Manager to oversee residential kitchen, bathroom, and home remodeling projects from the start of construction through final completion.

This is a hands-on position for someone who is organized, communicates well with homeowners and subcontractors, understands residential construction, and can successfully manage multiple projects at the same time.

Responsibilities

Manage multiple active residential remodeling projects simultaneously
Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, installers, trades, and deliveries
Visit jobsites regularly to monitor progress, workmanship, cleanliness, and schedule
Communicate with homeowners throughout the construction process
Keep customers informed of schedules, upcoming work, delays, and project updates
Review project scope, drawings, selections, and job information before construction begins
Ensure subcontractors understand the scope of work and project expectations
Coordinate material availability and deliveries with the office and vendors
Identify jobsite problems early and develop solutions to keep projects moving
Verify completed work meets company quality standards
Create and manage punch lists through final completion
Coordinate inspections when required
Document job progress, issues, changes, and important customer communication
Work closely with designers, sales staff, management, and the production team
Help control project timelines and minimize unnecessary delays
Ensure change orders or additional work are properly documented before proceeding
Maintain a professional and organized jobsite experience for our customers

Qualifications

Residential construction or remodeling experience required
Project management, superintendent, lead carpenter, or similar field experience preferred
Kitchen and bathroom remodeling experience strongly preferred
Strong understanding of residential construction processes and sequencing
Experience managing subcontractors and multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to identify workmanship and construction issues
Strong organizational and scheduling skills
Excellent communication and customer-service skills
Ability to solve problems quickly and make decisions in the field
Comfortable using a computer, smartphone, scheduling software, and project management systems
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is someone who understands how remodeling projects actually get built, not just someone with general office project-management experience.

You should be comfortable walking a jobsite, communicating with plumbers, electricians, tile installers, carpenters and other trades, while also being able to professionally communicate with homeowners.

You must be able to manage several projects at different stages without losing track of schedules, materials, subcontractors, customer concerns, or outstanding items.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, with occasional additional availability depending on project needs.

Work Environment

This position involves a combination of jobsite visits and office/project-management responsibilities. Projects are primarily residential kitchen, bathroom, and home renovations.

Compensation

Competitive compensation based on remodeling and construction management experience.

Experience:

Residential construction/remodeling: 3 years preferred
Construction project management: 2 years preferred
Kitchen & bathroom remodeling: Preferred

License/Certification:

Valid Driver's License (Required)

Pay: $48,000.00 - $91,000.00 per year
