Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Custom Home Project Manager to oversee residential construction projects from pre-construction through final completion. This role is vital in coordinating all phases of construction, from preparing accurate project estimates, coordinating schedules and subcontractors, managing budgets, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring exceptional client communication throughout the custom home building process.

The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in residential construction, exceptional attention to detail, and proven organizational and project management skills. This individual will confidently oversee multiple projects while maintaining the highest standards of craftsmanship, ensuring homes are delivered on time, within budget, and with an exceptional level of quality. Responsibilities

Planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgets.
Manage project teams by assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and fostering a collaborative work environment that promotes safety and quality standards.
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules.
Review construction plans, blueprints, and specifications to ensure compliance with design intent and regulatory standards.
Coordinate with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to facilitate smooth communication and resolve issues promptly.
Ensure all construction activities adhere to safety protocols, building codes, environmental regulations, and contractual obligations.
Utilize construction management software for effective project tracking, documentation, and reporting.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality control measures, and safety compliance on active construction sites.
Manage project documentation including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
Manage client expectations and maintain strong customer satisfaction.

Requirements

2+ years of experience preferred in residential construction project management and/or estimating.
Experience with custom home construction preferred.
Proficiency in estimating and project management software such as JobTread, Buildertrend, CoConstruct, Procore, or similar software.
Knowledge of local residential building codes and permitting processes.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality craftsmanship, with a passion for delivering high-end custom homes and renovations to the highest standards.
