RGV Healthy Vending LLC is full-line vending machine operator with servicing Hidalgo and Cameron Counties.

Job Description

We are actively recruiting for a full-time vending machine technician. This position will be based out of our Mission, TX office. This position will be responsible for ensuring that our vending equipment is functioning with minimal downtime. They will be driving a company-issued van and using company-provided tools.

Duties

Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on vending machines to ensure optimal performance.
Cleaning and lubricating our vending machines.
Preparing new machines for location and helping to install onsite.
Installing card readers, motors, wiring harnesses, trays, power supplies, coils, computer boards, etc.
Removing vending machines from shipping pallets.
Diagnosing problems on site.
Thoroughly documenting maintenance tickets.
Speaking with manufacturer’s tech support.
Using electrical testing tools to test voltage.
Deep cleaning vending machines.
Changing live display products.
Diagnose and repair elevator motors.
Comfortable using basic power tools.

Required Skills and Qualifications

This position will require a background check and drug test.
No more than two moving violations in the past 3 years and no at-fault accidents in the past 5 years.
Fluent in both English and Spanish
Able to safely lift 20-30 pounds.
Willingness to work in warehouses, office buildings, construction sites, etc.
Can work independently with minimal supervision.
Legally authorized to work in the United States.
Mechanically inclined and a natural problem-solver.
Able to perform on a vending machine based on a checklist.
Adaptable to change.
Organized and detail orientated.
Is teachable.
Has a well-groomed appearance with no facial, hand, neck, or any other visible offensive tattoos.
Is reliable and dependable.
Able to bend, stand, kneel or squat for extended periods of time.

Desired Skills and Experience

Previous vending machine mechanic experience
Low voltage experience
Self-Contained refrigeration system (R290, R134, R513) experience such as ice makers, freezers, fridges, yogurt machines, etc.
Previous implementations with ZippyAssist, UpKeep, Zoraso or similar CMMS software.
Building a parts inventory.
CPI Certification
VendNet Certification

Travel

Minimal travel to attend manufacturer-led training classes.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
