Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in low voltage systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various Home automation and surveillance systems. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work with cabling, networking equipment and audio/video equipment. The technician will need to utilize both hand and power tools effectively. For Commercial and Residential

Duties

Install, maintain, and repair low voltage systems including- CCTV cameras, equipment racks, Theaters, sound systems, home automation devices, and computer networking equipment.
Read and interpret schematics to ensure accurate installation of systems according to specifications.
Perform cabling tasks for various low voltage applications
Conduct routine inspections and troubleshooting of existing systems to ensure optimal performance.
Must know how to build an equipment rack
Team member must know how to run low voltage wires
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively while maintaining high-quality standards.
Utilize hand tools and power tools safely in accordance with industry best practices.

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE IN CONTROL 4 LIGHTING CONTROL AND PANEL
EXPERIENCE IN HOME AUTOMATION INSTALLATION
Proven experience as a Low Voltage Technician or similar role is preferred.
Strong understanding of cabling techniques and low voltage installations.
Experience with CCTV installation and surveillance system setup is highly desirable.
Technician must have some skill in Control4 Home automation
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
Valid driver's license will be required for travel between job sites.
Technician will be driving a company vehicle
Able to Read Construction Plans
