Bragg Waste Services, Inc. is looking for a dependable, hardworking Septic Tank Service Tech to join our team. This position will work alongside our septic tank pumper and assist with residential and commercial septic tank services.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, working with their hands, and learning the septic industry.

Job Responsibilities

Assist the septic tank pumper with daily service calls
Lay out, move, and roll up septic hoses
Assist with connecting and disconnecting hoses and equipment
Dig with a shovel when needed to locate or access septic tanks
Help clean and maintain equipment and work areas
Assist with exposing tank lids and preparing the work area
Follow instructions from the septic tank pumper and work efficiently as a team
Provide professional and courteous service to customers
Follow all company safety procedures and proper septic service practices
Perform other general labor duties as needed

Qualifications

Basic plumbing experience preferred
Septic system experience is a plus, but not required
No CDL required
Must be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
Must be physically capable of lifting hoses, digging, bending, and performing manual labor
Must have a strong work ethic and dependable attendance
Must be able to follow directions and work well as part of a team
Valid driver's license preferred
Must maintain a professional appearance and attitude around customers

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking, mechanically inclined, and willing to get their hands dirty. The right person doesn't need to know everything about septic systems—we can teach you the job. However, someone with plumbing experience or a basic understanding of pipes, fittings, and plumbing systems will be a strong candidate.
