Position Summary

We are seeking a Rough-End Carpenter with hands-on experience in rot repair, siding, trim, windows, doors, and drywall. This role plays a critical part in preparing residential and commercial properties for finish work and paint. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and capable of working independently or on a small team.

Key Responsibilities

Perform structural and cosmetic rot repairs with a focus on long-term durability
Install and repair exterior siding, trim, windows, and doors
Complete minor framing and drywall installation and repair
Accurately follow project scopes and blueprints
Ensure work meets company standards for safety, quality, and cleanliness
Communicate effectively with Crew Leads and clients when necessary
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a zero-injury jobsite

Qualifications

1-2 years of experience in carpentry, preferably with a focus on rot repair and exterior remodeling
Strong working knowledge of common tools, materials, and methods
Experience with windows, doors, siding, and drywall patching/installation
Ability to assess and solve problems in the field
Comfortable working at heights and on ladders
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
