We are seeking an experienced and motivated Lead Commercial HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in commercial settings. This leadership position requires strong technical expertise, effective communication skills, and the ability to manage and mentor a team of HVAC technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise a team of HVAC technicians on commercial projects
Install, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC systems, including rooftop units, chillers, boilers, and split systems
Troubleshoot system issues and diagnose equipment malfunctions
Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety standards, codes, and regulations
Coordinate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to deliver projects on time
Train and mentor junior technicians, providing guidance and support
Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including service reports and maintenance records
Order and manage inventory of necessary parts and supplies
Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment
Stay up-to-date with industry developments, technologies, and best practices

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical school certification preferred
Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair
EPA Certification and relevant state or local HVAC licensing
Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems and controls
Proven leadership and team management skills
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
