Adjective Art & Framing is looking for a dedicated, hard-working person to join our team as a Frame Fitter.

Responsibilities:

Art handling/packaging
Mounting fine art to substrates
Fitting fine art into custom frames
Cutting materials to size (mat board, cardboard, gatorboard, coroplast, glass, acrylic)
Daily 3S cleaning/organizing
Utilize kanban system for relaying ordering needs
Maintain standardized workspaces

Qualifications:

4 years Fine Art Framing and Fitting experience in a professional setting
Experience and understanding of a variety of mounting processes and materials including, but not limited to, Dry mounting, Hinging, Photo Corners, and Canvas Stretching
Confident with hand-held tools, both powered and manual
Comfortable with accurate measurements and working with fractions
Comfortable using computers/technology to assist work
Experience cutting mat windows, by hand or with a CMC
Excellent time management skills
Excellent communication skills
Excellent organizational skills
Self motivated, self directed
Ability to move, transport, and position items weighing up to 50lbs
