We are seeking an experienced, service-minded Drain Cleaning Manager to lead our drain cleaning operations, support customers in our community, and uphold high standards of workmanship, professionalism, and integrity. This individual will lead by example through a strong work ethic, respectful communication, technical expertise, and a genuine commitment to serving others.

This position is for a licensed Idaho plumber with strong drain cleaning and repair knowledge, experience evaluating projects and preparing professional bids, and the ability to build trust with customers, contractors, office staff, and field team members.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, train, support, and hold accountable a drain cleaning team in the field.
Perform and oversee drain cleaning, drain inspection, diagnostics, repair, and replacement work.
Evaluate plumbing and drain projects; identify repair or replacement needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
Prepare accurate, clear, professional estimates and bids for repairs, replacements, and related projects.
Communicate project scope, pricing, timelines, and options clearly and respectfully with customers.
Coordinate effectively with contractors, customers, office personnel, vendors, and other team members.
Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, cleanly, and in accordance with applicable codes and company standards.
Maintain a high level of customer care by listening to concerns, treating every property with respect, and offering honest recommendations.
Lead by example through punctuality, preparation, accountability, positive attitude, and quality workmanship.
Help develop team members through coaching, hands-on training, and constructive feedback.
Document completed work, recommendations, materials used, and customer communications accurately.
Participate in an on-call weekend rotation at least every other month and respond to urgent service needs as required.

Required Qualifications

Current Idaho plumbing license required.
Minimum of 5 years of professional plumbing experience.
Ability to assess projects, determine scope of work, and develop accurate repair and replacement bids.
Experience creating and writing clear, professional estimates or proposals.
Strong leadership ability with a proven commitment to leading through work ethic, integrity, and example.
Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
Respectful, friendly, and professional approach with customers, contractors, office staff, and team members.
Ability to work independently, make sound decisions in the field, and manage multiple priorities.
Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience leading, supervising, or mentoring plumbing or drain cleaning technicians.
Knowledge of general contracting practices, project coordination, and construction processes.
Experience with camera inspections, locating equipment, hydro-jetting, and related drain-cleaning technology.
Familiarity with plumbing codes, permitting requirements, and job-costing or estimating software.
Previous experience working in a service-oriented plumbing environment.

Schedule and Availability

This position has variable daily hours. The Drain Cleaning Manager must be flexible and available to meet customer, project, and team needs. The role includes participation in a required on-call weekend rotation at least every other month.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
