Join our dynamic team as a Fire Alarm Apprentice and kick-start your career in life safety systems! In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in the installation, maintenance, inspection and troubleshooting of fire alarm systems, working closely with seasoned technicians to develop your technical skills. Responsibilities

Assist in the service, maintenance and , inspection and troubleshooting activities
Conduct system testing using voltmeters, power tools, and other hand tools to verify proper operation
Help ensure building code compliance by inspecting installed systems and documenting adherence to fire codes and NFPA standards
Participate in field service activities such as system inspections, repairs, and upgrades
Learn to operate fire alarm control panels and understand their programming and configuration

Skills

Basic understanding of blueprint reading—electrical blueprints and schematics
Mechanical knowledge related to construction inspection and fire systems is advantageous
Strong interest in electrical work, low voltage systems, and engineering troubleshooting
Ability to use hand tools, voltmeters, power tools, and other field service equipment safely and effectively
Knowledge of fire alarm systems, sensors, alarms, and related components such as sprinkler systems
Customer service mindset with excellent communication skills to support client interactions during installations or inspections

Pay: $52,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
