Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Service Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various commercial and industrial settings. Your expertise will ensure that electrical systems operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all relevant codes and standards. Duties

Install, inspect, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial environments, including high-voltage wiring and low-voltage systems
Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute installations and repairs
Perform electrical diagnostics using tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to identify issues quickly and effectively
Conduct maintenance on industrial motors, motor control equipment, and other electrical machinery to ensure optimal performance
Follow strict electrical safety procedures in accordance with NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association code) and NEC (National Electrical Code) standards during all work activities
Troubleshoot complex electrical problems involving power distribution systems, control circuits, and building wiring infrastructure
Utilize hand tools and power tools safely to complete installations, repairs, and upgrades efficiently on construction sites or existing facilities

Skills

Extensive experience with industrial and commercial electrician work in construction or maintenance environments
Proficiency in reading electrical blueprints, schematics, and building codes to ensure compliance with safety standards
Strong knowledge of high-voltage electrical wiring, motor control equipment, low voltage systems, and electrical building codes
Skilled in electrical diagnostics, troubleshooting techniques, and preventive maintenance practices
Ability to operate testing instruments such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and PLC programming devices accurately
Familiarity with electrical safety procedures including lockout/tagout protocols and NFPA 70 compliance requirements
Experience working with construction site teams on electrical system installation projects using hand tools and power tools effectively
