Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and responsible Crane Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating cranes safely and efficiently to assist with construction, transportation, and lifting operations. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to perform occasional travel and weekend work as needed. The Crane Operator will also handle truck and trailer transport tasks. Starting pay is $22/hr. Pay is based on experience and qualifications.

Duties

Operate cranes to lift, move, and position materials accurately on job sites.
Conduct pre-operation inspections of cranes and related equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
Coordinate with team members to execute lifting plans effectively while maintaining safety standards.
Manage truck and trailer transport for equipment or materials as required.
Perform occasional travel to different job sites, including weekend work when necessary.
Follow all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
Maintain detailed records of crane operation activities, inspections, and maintenance.

Requirements

Valid NCCCO (National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators) certification.
Valid Class A CDL
Proven experience operating cranes in a construction or industrial setting preferred.
Ability to perform occasional travel and work weekends as needed.
Experience with truck and trailer transport is desirable.
Strong understanding of safety procedures related to crane operation and transportation.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members.
Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
