Job Overview for Service Technician

We are seeking reliable and safety-focused Service technicians to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing refrigeration systems. This position is ideal for someone with basic familiarity with hand tools, basic mechanical or electrical principles and a commitment to high-quality service.

Responsibilities for Technician

commercial refrigeration troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance.
EPA Type III or Universal CFC Certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start).
Proficiency with industry standard equipment (ice machines, reach-ins, walk-ins, rack systems) and brands such as Manitowoc, Hoshizaki, Scotsman, Kolpak, Heatcraft, True, and Beverage-Air.
Ability to work 40+ hours per week with participation in a rotating 7-day on-call schedule.
Working knowledge of modern refrigerants (R-404A, R-448A, R-449A, R-134a, R-410A, R-290, etc.) and comfort reading electrical wiring diagrams.
Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset.

Qualifications for Technician

Valid Tennessee Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
EPA Type III or Universal CFC Certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start).
Strong, work ethic, technical aptitude, and genuine desire to learn the trade
HVAC schooling or background is a great plus-willingness to learn from seasoned techs
Basic familiarity with hand tools and basic mechanical or electrical principles is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and maneuver heavy equipment(50+ lbs)
Ability to climb, bend, and work in physically demanding conditions
